Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting
Reports to : Chief Engineer / Head Quarters Management
Reported by : All Department Engineers and Stores.
The PM’s role is therefore one of constant overview, looking ahead and flagging to his team issues that are on the horizon, issues that need to be addressed/avoided and monitoring both progress on site, and likewise the individual progress of each department Engineers and key members of staff.
Management relation
Liaise with your Senior Executive at HQ to understand as much as you can about the business priorities for the project, and the position of your counterpart in their organization and the extent of their remit for decision taking. Keep your Senior Executive up-to-date when you can foresee there will be a need for assistance in resolving issues.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Making of master conctruction programme for each cluster and montioring including MEP.
• Making the organization chart with responsibilities.
• Ensuring the preparation of Cost statement of Labour and Material and same to be sent to HQ 30th of every month.
• Follow up and coordination with various vendors and agencies concerned to the project
• Organizing and conducting following Meetings and MOM to be sent to HQ in 24 hrs. Correction Closing reports to be sent in 36 hrs.
• Weekly review meeting every Wednesday
• Weekly quality walk down meeting every Friday
• Weekly safety walk down meeting every Saturday
• Coordinates and ensures for all the change, variation, HQ Approvals and execution only with GFC drawings.
• Ensuring that all qtys to be obtained in 36 hrs after receipt of the drawings.
• Responsible for the team performance in the project in line with quality and quantity
• Reviewing Drawings & getting clarifications from HQ now and then.
• Maintaining the documentation of all clients changes regarding modification
• Ensuring contractor follow as per the contract document, BOQ specification and accepted schedule.
• Responsibility for Bills and material Reconciliation statement
• Ensuring all necessary correspondence to be made on time and any clarification that should be attended in 24 hrs time.
• Monitoring the flow of materials to site and making the requirement one month in advance i:e 25th of every month.
• Monitoring the workmanship of contractors and there should be the document along with quality walk down.
• Ensuring the follow up of regulatory requirements in the construction
• Propagating safety aspects to all contract staff in the site and ensure its
• Ensuring that corrective actions are initiated and completed by the contracotrs as per the recommendation of MD / COO / CUSTOMER.
• Applying Measurement, Analysis and Improvement technique for analysis of data for quality improvement.
